VISAS

It is not necessary to have a specific visa if you own a villa in Bali.

VISA VKU (Business visa)

With this type of visa, businessmen are allowed to spend 4-5 weeks in the country for business. It is usually relevant for people who already have business relations with local companies. These people cannot obtain a tourist visa or a social-cultural visa (KKSB).

MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA

This type of visa allows several entries in Indonesia for a year, with each stay lasting maximum 2-4 months, depending on the immigration service approval.
To obtain this type of visa, the sponsor (usually a company) must submit an application in Jakarta immigration office.

Employement or work visa (Working KITAS 312)

This type of visa is valid for 6 months to a year. It is delivered to foreign experts who can bring special work necessary to the national development, and to expatriates working in educational or scientific programmes, according to local reglementation.

LE VISA KITAS LANSIA (Retraite)

This type of visa is valid for a year. To be eligible, you should be 55 years old or older, healthy, certify that you do not plan to have any professional activity, and have a monthly income of 1500€ or more.

The social-cultural VISA VKSB (Social Budaya)

The purpose of this visa is to visit friends / relationships, social - cultural or educational exchange. With this visa you are not allowed to do business activities in Indonesia or to take up employment. Sponsorship is required by an Indonesian citizen, for instance in Bali. You will get 60 days free visit, extendable to a total stay of 6 months.

It is required to supply a sponsorship letter (educational center, university, indonesian citizen or foreign citizen living in Indonesia) which should preferably be written in Indonesian, and the Ambassy visa application form.

Once you are in Indonesia, you will be able to extend your visa monthly in the local immigration offices next to your address, to a total stay of 6 months. Your visa can be extended four times with the same procedure.
